In this activity, you are to assume your role of a Marketing Manager with working experience in Yagoona Pharmaceuticals Philippines.
You will be meeting with your subordinate / staff, Bobbie, who is a Senior Medical Representative. She has been with the company for more than 5 years and is considered a strong performer. Because of this, younger employees tend to look up to her and ask for her guidance.
Six months ago, she was relocated to the South region coming from the North. Since then, she has missed numerous deadlines for the past 3 months. You see this happening more often and others in the team stretching themselves further to support the team tasks that Bobbie did not deliver on.
The position description and performance score are provided below. These will help you conduct a meaningful review/coaching discussion. During this meeting, you are expected to address the feedback points raised, engage with Bobbie on these points and agree sensible action steps.
You have two objectives to achieve during this meeting – firstly, to conduct an annual performance review and secondly, to explore issues resulting from the recent 360-feedback review. You will be assessed based on your progress against both topics. It is expected that you will split your time evenly across these two topics.
